The most reliable and accurate method for detecting fires or smouldering in biomass and coal operations is to monitor carbon monoxide (CO) levels in key areas such as silos and mills, identifying rapid increases in concentration.

 

The CODEL EnergyTech 202 samples gas from critical areas using a steel sintered filter mounted in the chamber wall. This non-intrusive design eliminates the need for sampling probes, which are prone to wear and costly to replace, ensuring long-term reliability and efficiency.
